Fat Sac Options for 23XTi

23XTi

Does anyone have suggestions on how to weight down a 23 XTi for wake surfing. We have been fairly successful with a ton of people and all factory ballast filled but want an option for when we dont have that many people out with us. Has anyone tried a fat sack in the compartment by the engine. If so what brand and size. Thanks for any thoughts.

I haven't tried a sac by the engine, but I was thinking of sending PRO X the dimensions of the space on the floor in the lounge. I heard of a guy that had one of those custom made and it worked really well. zzbutler had an xti and he told me the specifics of what he found to be best, but I don't remember. Maybe he'll see this thread and pop in or you can sent him a PM.

I haven't tried a Sac by the engine but we have had good success with 5+ people and a 500lb sac in the lounge, and sometimes in the left side isle, it has also helped to have 1-2 people in the front, it seems to make a nicer wave if there is not too much weight in the far back......

I believe most of the time we were doing a 400 in the bow on the rider side, a 400 in the floor in the back, a 750 across the back seat, and 2 150's on the rider's side in the seat or isle. Fill all of the factory and have the wedge down.

Be careful!
