Question for those of you with Tower Bimini's

So I'm pinging the knowledge of the crew before taking the plunge into a tower bimini. My question is, with the bimini expanded, does it get in the way of changing out boards on the racks?

It looks like it would, but that's just from a few pictures I've seen.

Thanks for the input.

On my boat, it is definetely easier to rack a board without the Bimini, but it's not an option, the protection from the sun is worth a bit more effort. I usually just step up onto the seat, where with the top off, I wouldn't have to. Mine might even be tougher than some, as I ordered my Bimini one foot longer than their "standard" length. Get the top, you will enjoy relaxing in the shade.post-205-1204045503_thumb.jpg

Its not big deal. Getting the bimini up by yourself is much harder than getting the boards down! And in the Texas sun, the bimini is virtually required - esp w/ kids on board.

Good to know it's not that big of a deal to switch out boards. I haven't worried too much about a bimini before, but now that I have a little girl, some shade is much needed.
