new model year malibu decals on older boats

When we bought our vride we had the side graphics taken off, partly to go with a clean look and

because I didn't like the 'ride' graffiti style graphic. I have officially ran out of other boat items to think about, so was curious about thoughts on putting newer model year graphics on an older model year boat? The new wakesetter graphic is pretty cool. Instead of trying to claim a 'wakesetter' boat with the full graphic, I was thinking about just getting the 'M' transformer style Malibu logo and putting that on the side of the boat. What do you think?

I think it would look good....I also opted out of the vride graphics on my 06 and instead went with

the wakesetter tribal ones that were out at the time. I have just never really liked the ride series graphics so far.
