Whats Brighter?

Im looking at getting a 08 VLX. I was just wondering if 2 LPA HIDs would be brighter then 4 that malibu will put on at the factory?

I can't judge on the 4 halogen lights Malibu installs because I have never seen any in use, but 2 LPA HIDs I have installed are far brighter than the standard 55W car fog light.

Has anyone in the NorCal area seen my lights campared to the standard four forward lights Malibu installs?

It is not just about the brightness of the light, But the quality and direction of the light are Very important. The Factory Halogen lights while being very bright provide alot of "glare" inside the boat. I am sure that others will agree with this. It is documented the LPA's HID's are 3x brighter than halogen, but the light is also thrown where you need it and the glare is almost non existent with them. So to answer your quesion will 2 HID's be brighter than 4 Halogens, my opinion is Yes, but also the light is so much more useable. It is just a far better setup. That is why he sells so many of them. Just my 2c.
