??? for RLXi owners

If anyone has a 05/06 RLXi on a Prestige SA trailer, would you take a measurement between the guide poles? I am trying to get an idea of garage space requirements. The RLX fit nicely in the alloted space. I want to know how much wider I am going to be with a RLXi.

THANKS

Mine is on a boatmate as well. The guide poles on mine are held in with set screws so they and be turned in or removed for storage. It is a very nice feature to have. Is this an option for your trailer?

Maximum trailerable width, without a special permit is 8.5 feet. Not sure how the guide poles play into that. . .

Mark, if it helps any, my 08 went into a standard garage door. It was tight, but doable, and I did not need to remove the guide poles.

Howdy gang...

I have a tight spot where I am considering sticking a RLXi.

If it is 105.5 from post to post, do you think the distance from tire wall to tire wall is over 100" ?

My garage is configured where I have the wall on one side and access to a stairwell in the middle. From the wall to the stair railing is 129". Having a 22" opening to walk thru everytime you go from the garage to the house is concerning. A standard doorway is 30" and we all know how challenging it is to carry an armful of stuff through a standard house door.

I don't have my RLXi here to make the measurement, but I'm quite certain that my guide posts extend more than a few inches on each side. I'd bet for less than 100"...

If I was still a Response LXI owner I could make a comment....

Well, I thought I'd stir the pot for awhile....

Boat is still sitting in my backyard...for now. If or when it leaves you will see a very detailed thread.

I'll give you five bucks for it. ;) Looks like I might be sending $ your way as it is.

Chris, you're killing me man. Just run the boat and enjoy it! Remember, a boat is like a woman. . .you can go out with a different one every weekend, but you have to keep one past Valentine's Day to really know what she's capable of. . .
