05 Delivery Condition

Recommended Posts

After further close-up inspection of my 2005 Sunscape gelcoat, I have noticed that there are circular scratches over the entire boat. It appears to be from an overly aggressive buffer. I have tried to remove them, they are better but they are still present.

So my question is....will the dealer take care of this? or do I need to put some more elbow grease into the scratches?

Thanks.

depends on your dealer... I'd ask the question to him, be nice about it and bring along a cold 6 pack... you'd be surprised what that might get accomplished. If that doesn't work then get some good pics and email them to the factory and ask WHY?

Those scratches should come out with some elbow grease and the right products but on a 2005 there's no reason why YOU should have to do that.

Sorry to hear that!

I agree that YOU shouldn't have to take care about any defects on a new boat.

I wish, we "only" had some scratches on our new Malibu, but that's another story...

Stress cracks on our 2005 Malibu Response

I keep my fingers crossed for you, that you'll have better luck than me!
