Wrinkled Dash Vinyl

Is it normal to have the vinyl on the dash wrinkle as it heats up and cools down in the sun? Seems like it is too loose. Thanks.

i have a 2007 Rlxi that does the same thing. i'm not sure if its intentionally loose to allow for expansion when hot, or if its a defect. I'm curious to see what others have to say.

I have never seen mine do that. I don't think that is normal. The vinyl should be tight with no wrinkles, cold or hot.

My 06 does the same thing, in fact when hot it make a huge bubble, then retracts when cool again. I will try to get it warrantied next fall/winter, there is no way that's normal.

I just had my dash replaced for the same thing, under warranty.

I have an '05 VLX and it does the same thing. I'm planning on trying to get it fixed this winter if it is an easy repair. I'm not excited about having my dash ripped apart.
