Adjusting speed and depth?

Recommended Posts

07 VLX with Malibu depth gauge. How do you adjust the speed on the analog and the digital speedometers? According to the GPS they're off a little and I cannot get them to adjust. Also how do you change where the depth alarm goes off? It came from the factory set at three feet and I want to change that as well. Thanks for the help.

To adjust the speed, go to the speedometer screen, press and hold the enter button until rpm dissapears and speed flashes, adjust the speed and press enter again. On my 2006, I could never get it perfect at all speeds, so what I recommed is to go to the fastest you ski at (probaly 36 if you slalom or faster is you barefoot) and adjust it there. The reason for this is that the more you move away from the speed you calibrated your speedometer too, the bigger the offset. However, the offset seems to be bigger when you go faster than when you go slower.

Also pick a non-windy day because the current will false the readings.

Good luck.
