Perfect Pass Failure - Salt Vs Fresh

Recommended Posts

My perfect pass in speed mode works fine in salt water but when I take it into fresh it goes dead. Sometimes, after an extended freshwater run it will come back to life. It always works correctly in RPM. Any idea what is happening?

bigger fish in salt water, so you are hitting them and they are causing that paddlewheel to spin??

that is bizarre. The RPM mode makes sense, since it is totally independent of the water - its all electrical. The speed mode does not make sense to me, unless there is some electrcal connection at the paddlewheel that is getting contact via that salt??? that really doesn't make sense to me, but then again, I was only an electrical engineering student for 1 semester Biggrin.gif .
