How do you guys get the stone chips out of the gelcoat on the front of the boat?

I usually try to tow mainly on pavement. Crazy.gif Those gravel/dirt roads will kill ya. Crazy.gif Also, try to not drive like Bo & Luke Duke when the boat is attached. :) [in the voice of Sherrif Roscoe...] "Geh, geh, geh,..." :)

I use to tow with stuff on the floor of our boat, but one center ballast cover and a kneeboard later, almost everything goes in the tow vehicle.

In the LSV, 2 boards fit nicely under the port side cabin seats.

Stewart, was that center ballast cover out of your latest boat? I lost mine a week ago.

No it was out of my 04. The one in the 05 seems to stay put.

I had mine pop out last summer. We found out that if the center drain plug is out, the pressure from the air moving by the hole is enough to create pressure to pop the cover off, so now if the plug is out the cover is under a seat.
