I searched and could not find this online and I'm not near my boat/manual until this weekend....

Anyone happen to know which transmission is in a 2006 Vride with the 5.7L LCR motor? I wanted to buy some fluid to keep on hand and was not sure which type. I found this in the Indmar online manual:

ZF Hurth Transmission (Ski Vee) - Pennzoil Type A Dexron II,III or Dexron/Mercon

ZF V-Drive and Reduction Gears - 15W-40 Pennzoil Marine

Walters V-Drive - SAE 30 Pennzoil Motor Oil

If you have the boat anywhere near you, it will say on top of the tranny what type it is. Probably on a metal badge.

I'm not sure, but I thought that all of the tranny/vdrive units in '06 were the same. If so, it would be the SkiVee which takes ATF (Dextron III) fluid in both the tranny & vdrive. But Pete's right, it would say right on top of the unit what it takes.
