1994 echelon wiring

Recommended Posts

I bought this bout used and the idiot removed and taped up the wires instead of replacing the sensors, I am hoping that someone who has this boat might look at it and tell me the colors for the transmission temp sensor neutral saftey switch and the engine tepperature sensors. Everything else seems ok.

Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly the engine temp sensor is brown, there is a temp sensor and an alarm switch that are in the intake manifold water passages, actually on each side of the thermostat housing. Not sure on the trans temp switch color.

OK, just looked and here's what I have.

Neutral Saftey Switch.

(1-Black & 1-Tan W/ Black Stripe)

Engine Temp. Sensor left side of thermostat housing.

(1-Tan)

Transmission Temp. (this ones a little tricky)

(1-Black & 1-Tan W/ Blue Stripe)

The Tan W/ Blue Stripe wire also daisy chains to

the engine oil temp sensor by the oil filter, and

to the water temp sensor on the right side of the thermostat housing.

Hope this helps.
