What is the blower secured to?

Recommended Posts

So the blower in my 02 LSV died a while ago. About a month ago I pulled it out and ordered a new one. I got around to installing it today, but cannot remember what the blower unit is secured to?? I know approximately where it goes – (port side of the engine, the end of the blower power wires and 3” hose is there, duhh), but cant remember for the life of me if it was screwed into the bottom of the hull, or zip tied to some hose, stuck to the engine block…etc. If it were screwed to something usually I put the screws back in the holes, and could not find them anywhere!! And I cant find any empty screw holes anywhere either

Can some one tell me what it secures to, or snap a quick picture of theirs?? I thought about zip tying it to a water hose, but figured I’d at least ask here first.

Thanks,

hmmm, i felt up my stringer pretty good and couldnt feel any holes... If there were screws holding it in place I usually screw the screws back into the holes to keep track of everything. I cannot seem to find anything! I sure feel dumb.

Let me know what you find Srud.

Thanks,

Chad

Sure you're looking on the correct side?

Looks like you have it figured out. Cool. As I had initially thought, mine is screwed to a block that is attached (glued or fiberglassed) to the transom.
