Hello, first timer on the forum; Tried searching and could not find anything related, so will ask here. We just purchased a 2023 MXZ and it has the swim step ladder which we think will get used often. We take possession of it this Friday and just noticed there is a sensor on the ladder and is hard wired to the dash. We will have to remove our swim step each time we store it in our garage (every trip). Has anyone here installed some form of quick disconnect that is waterproof, easy to connect/disconnect? Would prefer to not permanently disconnect it, or, unscrew the sensor and cable clip on each trip. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance....

OK, got another reply back from Parker: Good afternoon sir. After checking with my Parker rep, it looks like this EHA unit is proprietary to TH Marine. Unfortunately, AFP is unable to do anything with this unit for that sole reason. I would try reaching out to TH Marine to see if they have a replacement or can help troubleshoot. I apologize we are unable to help in this instance.

OK I turned the red screw CCW. For a while it backed out, and then it just kept turning. I imagine it is a "captive" screw. I tried to move the piston but it wouldn't budge. I put quite a bit of force on it. Finally I was able to push on it by turning the unit downward and pushing against it and it retracted an inch or so. Connecting to battery still had no effect.

Great info guys. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or list of what’s in that circuit? Is there anyway of pulling things out of that circuit one by one to isolate it? It’s got to be a short to ground in that circuit causing the tripped breaker.

I am currently running 7500-8000watts. I am considering switching to 2 of those 6v. Did u ditch the 1/2/both battery switch? Or are you running one 12v cranking battery and then those 4 6v? Just curious how everything is wired/works and charges?

I know this is an old post but curious if you solved the problem and what the issue was? I have the exact problem with my Black Scorpion. Doesn’t like starting cold but once going, she’s solid. I also throttle to about 1000 RPM’s to warm up the motor. Typically idols around 600. New fuel pump, plugs, cap, fuel filter, regular service, etc… can’t figure it out. Thanks!

That is a shame the build quality of the box is so poor. If there is any air leakage on any box it will sound like absolute trash. (obviously) The fact that it is a "shallow" sub in itself isn't really a problem. It's a Zero 12 I assume? I don't think you would have any complaints with it if it was tuned correctly, which it sounds like it isn't at all. Making sure it is in an appropriately sized enclosure is top of the list IMO.

In other dealer news - Local dealer just sent out an email about opening a 3rd location in MN. Location definitely makes a lot of sense from a service perspective, Detroit Lakes area - home of a million cabins/summer homes.
