Any update, or are you having too much fun to take it in?

Lots of fun, boat is at 281 hours, but it's been in the shop for vinyl/soft grip warranty work the past two weeks.   I FINALLY got ahold of the right ears though regarding the steering.   It was supposed to be tested on the water today, but the (new) service manager saw my youtube video and said they didn't need to test it, called Malibu, and got a rudder with a tuneable tab on the way to install under warranty.   Rejoice!   Will update when it's installed, hopefully before the end of the week.

Thanks, I was actually wondering about the prop.  I noticed these new ones are coming with 15" props instead of 13s or 14s. The one I'm looking at has a high torque prop too.  I was planning on buying another prop to experiment a little, plus have a spare.  However I thought the 21 LX still had 1.5:1 transmission, which is what my older VLX had?

Also noticed the new props are OJ and I've always had Acmes.  For some reason if you put a 21 LX in Acmes website, it still recommends 14 or 14.5 inch props.  I know that's a whole other thread, but found it interesting when I came across it.

    • Not sure how well it would work given its proximity to the water line, but I'd suggest a simple 2-prong connector and see how that goes.  If you want something cleaner and don't mind drilling into your boat, something like this might clean it up a bit...but at a cost of a hole near the waterline.  Definitely go IP68 or higher if you can find it.

Where is this sensor cable in relation to the waterline?

    • Does your Bimini adjust upward when you lower the tower?

you should be able to use the arm when the Bimini is in the upward position. (See the 1st pic in this thread) the Bimini is stowed but in the up position.

i have a tower mirror arm “new” in box I’d be willing to part with. I went to mount it and I’m not a fan of where it has to mount when you have 2 pairs of Rev10 on the GX tower.

      https://www.malibuparts.com/products/gv-tower-mirror-bracket-1?variant=43956388528345&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_source=MaxConnect&utm_medium=Shopping&utm_content=INT&utm_campaign=MaxConnect_Shopping&kudos_platform=Google&kudos_source=MaxConnect&kudos_medium=Shopping&kudos_adid=&gad_source=1

i tow, and store the boat with tower down and with 2 pairs of rev10 the captain chair needs to be turned to the side to avoid speakers rubbing on chair, but by turning the chair the stowed position of the mirror with tower down would interfere with the chair or be in a bad position for actual use while under way

Regina switching to Nautique has nothing to do with Tommy’s.  Just like Will Asher, and others.  Let alone Dennis Kelly.

No, it doesn't directly have anything to do with Tommy's, I'd agree.  But is it a result of a bigger issue at hand internally?  Are they moving on because the sponsorship dollars are drying up?
