    • I removed mine completely.  Didn't want the chain or balls falling into the tank.  Plus I don't like the cap hanging against the gel coat dinging it up.

On the ski side, Tgas appears to be the only Malibu sponsored athlete at present.  His ski school in Italy probably has a bearing on staying with Malibu given the assets tied up with the school.

Add the cord cutting with Malibu's hard working 3 event manager Dennis Kelly, who did a ton for the program, to the current travails happening with Malibu and one has a big bowl of not good going down.  Sad to see this chapter unfold in the company founded by Bob Alkema.

Yep.  The culture that built the brand is dead and buried.  The "boutique" feel is gone.  The three event program was the last remaining vestige of the company identity and culture.

What, you mean that the last class action lawsuit where I got $10 that the lawyers made millions?

Sounds like my WorldCom stock back in the day.  That’s when I realized (most) Class Action Lawsuits only benefit the lawyers.

    • I guess this helps explain why it took MBUU 10 months to build my Axis.  I AM entitled to compensation.

      Another vote for Ace Hardware.

Its a nickel-plated brass bead chain. The Ace Hardware stores aroung here also

carry the end connector that will screw into the back of the gas cap.

I broke the chain (on land thankfully) to the cap on my Sunsetter LXI the last time I filled it up in the fall. A portion of it is still attached to the filler so I would like to give your fix a try. Can anyone help me out with the size of the chain needed and the type of connectors used?  My boat is in storage 200 miles from here near my lake cabin so I can’t use my existing cap to find the right size.

Thanks in advance for your help!
