If you do one more coat of varnish and sprinkle a little silica sand on it - might get even more grip than the vinyl ;)

I sprayed it down with water last night, and I think it will be fine.  I wouldn't want to make it abrasive - 99% of the time people sit on that area and pivot to the swim platform - Or simply step over the stern from the rear seat .  People do however step on the sides of my boat when boarding from the dock, or maybe jumping into the water - That gelcoat is 100 X's more slick than this piece of wood.

I just want to push the cabin speakers. Looking for 6 good 8" speakers. Maybe the standard Wet Sounds Revo, or maybe a JBL Stage Marine.

Today I only have some UE Bluetooth interconnected speakers on the boat, so anything like that will be way better.

The revos are on sale for a great price currently! And they’re a great speaker. A lot of people have also liked Rockford, JL, hertz, etc!

A little, about as slippery as wet vinyl or the swim platform.  The lighting makes it look a lot shinier than it actually is.

    • That looks awesome! Very nice work. And my dad had the same trolling motor mount on our 1998 Moomba Outback. We didn’t do much trolling but did fish for bass and I caught some big fish on that boat lol. The layout actually made it very nice for fishing.

Clue: Find the "How to post pictures" sticky post and read it.

Here, I'll find it for you:

      WOW.

I haven't yet tried it, but I'm hooked.

I try to support anything I've found useful, and this site is my salvation as a Malibu newbie.

      So:
I'm a crew chief, or whatever the top end is for the label, now.

I hope to figure out the mechanism for stuff on my computer, but even if I fail, y'all are my heroes.

      Thanks!
