I have a 2014 Malibu Wakesetter VLX. I had read about this problem and noted that my touch screen had the slightest bit of delamination starting to occur a couple of years ago. Before 2020, replacement part was about $2K and now it is close to $4k. Fortunately, I discovered MTC Screens in Naples, Florida. I sent my touch screen to them earlier this Spring and they put a new screen on the unit. The screen has a much better display and the adhesive that they use is for marine use and will not delaminate. I sent them my non-touch display as well because that screen was fuzzy and looked really crappy. Now both of my digital display screens look really good. Search MTC Screens. There is also another option that I found - [email protected] wake switches has developed a tablet that replaces the Medallion Touch Screen.

12 hours ago, oldjeep said:Yeah. I bought the lightest compound. If that doesn't work then I will get more aggressive. Boat has looked like glass most of the time I have owned it, all elbow grease and beer. Last year or 2, I have not done as good a job on it, but it lives inside.
I say you have better stuff to do, so have another beer and let it ride a few more years. Be American and fix it up all pretty right before you sell it.
