Closed Cooling - Does that scare you?

Whenever I saw closed cooling system I always thought salt water boat, stay away. But perhaps that's not the case. Sounds like it does have an advantage to it. What do you have to winterize on a boat with a closed cooling system?

Just the raw water side (for partial cooling - manifolds, V-drive, heat exchanger, impeller). Or simply suck coolant through the system until it comes out the exhaust for a little bit...at that point all the water is pushed out and you are good to go.
