Which Boat will create the wake I need without mods?

A used 2017 or 2018 22 MXZ will use all of your budget but give you the best wave of the options listed.  I run one with 250lbs of lead i leave in the bow compartment at all times, and rear plug n play.   No ballast sacs on the seats or the floor and the wave is great... I've had 6-7 different guys your size out surfing it this summer.

Friends with newer G's have spent quite a bit of time on it and agree the wave is easier to ride (more gradual ramp/less steep down low) and more forgiving (much longer) than a G23 wave.

I have a 2007 VTX and earlier this summer one of my friends was able to surf just fine behind my boat.  He weighs in around 230 and we had the the rear factory and 600 lbs/side rear bags filled up, center full and front about 3/4 full.  We only had a few people in the boat, so also ran the wedge down to 3/4 wake size.  We use a Ronix Koal powertail technora with one fin in the middle.  Before we added the two rear bags, it took a few extra friends on the back of the boat to pull the wake necessary to properly surf.

If you haven't already tried different boards, try that before upgrading your boat.  A properly-sized board will surprise you how well it will surf on a smaller boat/wake.  The biggest wake on the planet with an incorrectly-sized board will still give you an only OK experience but a properly-sized board on a decent, but not huge wave, can be surprisingly good.  I'm bigger than you are and regularly surf a 21' diamond-hulled VLX which was built before there was such a thing as wake surfing.  With a good board, it's a surprisingly good ride.
