My pump that you plug into the accessory plug has stopped working. My question is what is to stop me from buying a new cartridge and splice in the accessory plug on the end of it? A complete new Tsunami Fly High pump is going for $119-$150? CRAZY! A new cartridge is like $30-40.

A complete Attowood Tsunami 46607 T1200 with 1.125" threaded inlet is not much over $40. Id expect a cartridge to be around $30 for the standard version with short leads. 

Did you check the fuse in the plug?
