Looking for some advise on a new zoned audio system for our houseboat. It will have 4 zones. Zones 1 & 3 will have a pair. Zone 2 will have a pair of in ceiling and Zone 4 will have 2 pair. For all but the ceiling, which are already there and will not be replaced, I will probably go with the Kicker 6000 speakers. I am looking for advise on a receiver, amplifier and a 4 zone selector with independent volume controls. It would be nice to have the ability to listen to different music/sources in different zones but not a "have to have" at this point.  Looking for good sound that won't break the bank.  Thanks

I am also thinking about this for my houseboat. My only concern is battery life. I have solar and 3 house batteries but am afraid of draining everything with all the lights on, stereo playing, ceiling fans etc....

I know I need to switch to 6 volt bank system but have not yet
