What are you guys hearing about new or refreshed models? Seems like the 22 VLX is up for an update, which would leave the 25 LSV as the only Malibu boat with the older hull and graphics style.

And the VTX... I have a few pretty strong suspicions but I think the 22&25 will be updated. Not sure on the VTX. I’d agree with whoever earlier said the T23 too.

I heard rumors of a t20 coming for axis awhile back. Not sure if that one is still in the cards or not...

It would make sense to me. Might also make sense to have it be a cross over like the vtx.

I was told as of Friday that I should wait until Tuesday to decide whether to order my dealers first 2019 spray date as their was new info available... I will find out tomorrow if there is anything worth hyping up.... I have a 2016 23LSV with 400 hours... I average 175-200 hours a season.

I know this may sound weird, but I hope they don’t change the VTX. I really like our design with the gel, and really like the interior layout. I want the rounded seat backs at the corners and more plus design. Plus now that I’ve skied the hull I know what I’m getting and I’m happy plus very excited for it!

I think I did 30 my first weekend with the thing... =) I'm also self employed and super close to the water.

Had the chance to go out with Austin Keen on a 25LSV, had about 10 people in the boat, PNP, lead, wedge on 2, seemed pretty good to me.  Looked like he was able to get pretty far back as well some pop up close

This shows the issue perfectly.. no lip where he is jumping.. he can get a lil pop cuz he's a lil dude.. my 2013 23lsv wave was no where near the 25 but I could get more pop with a firmer lip curled lip closer to boat.. granted I can do way more behind a 25 but just a small issue..

I am thinking of going from 23 to 25.... hard decision for me.

How is this a decision, unless its a price thing and boat lift thing.. no comparison.. honestly it seems like it's not that much more for what you get.. and the best wave for the buck when u divide that out.. ri257/24mx/M.. arguably much better for a crap ton more $$$$.. but when you compare a 23 to a 25 no comparison you don't have the bow Rises or bag issue.. so much more Elbow Room in the boat and way longer wave.. a sample a can't beat the wave for the price of this thing..

I would think it's a good time to buy for the price before they do major upgrades and put it at the M pricing on the next redesign I think that will price a lot of people out of this thing... I think Malibu should consider this if they want to go nuts with the 25 they should just make the m255 for people that want to spend 200k and keep the 25 lsv in a more reasonable price range I know it's sad saying that right?.. it's simply a ton of boat for the money...

Although Pavati AL26 yacht just released.. hmmm

Yeah it's not a matter of lift or price, moreso I have had 23 lsv always so matter of pattern... I can see myself taking the jump tomorrow.

Have you been in one? On the water? Or surf behind one?.. if it's not about the money then I put you at a less than 5% chance of going to a 23 again.. I hopped in a buddies 23 well he had it parked in this driveway and I felt cramped I'm claustrophobic. Haha

I have only been in a 247 and not a 25 lsv... I imagine i will make the jump. I really wanted to wait another year but then it will be 3 years old with 600 hours on my 2016.... lol

So the surf gate actuators are confirmed this way unlike the standard Linco ones? So I'm wondering if the 2013 and 2014 units that use standard lincos would have the position sensors or no?

No position sensors on those. Could possibly go off of something like run time but as they aged that would change as well.

The Lenco SG module doesn't have the capability of doing that either IIRC. Can't be reprogrammed for it either unless Medallion did it and I doubt they would even consider it as it would also require a complete viper reprogram with updated software to accommodate for it. Also doubt the SG module would even have the capability of doing that without a hardware change.

No changes to 23. 22 and 25 will follow the 23 changes. He will have exacts for me later this afternoon.

Ok... if 22VLX and 25LSV are getting remakes, that's 2 of 4 new hulls they promise each year.

That would lead me to believe T23 is new, and.... if it didn't happen last year, the A22 will get the A24 makeover.  The A24 is selling "much better than anticipated" according to the earnings call last quarter.  Make it a little smaller, more affordable, boom.

Interesting. I was there yesterday and they can see orders that Malibu has put in for them for their first 19’s but not when they are building a boat.

I called 3 dealers... they claim they can't see anything yet... only know what "Reps" have told them but its not public.

All,

I was mistaken, dealer told me this evening the portal to build a 19 isn't open yet but was told it would happen any day.  He explained the changes I referenced earlier during a phone call.

Sorry for the bad intel
