PFD for our grandson.

So we will be taking our grandson on the boats this summer and I am going to need A PDF for him. He will be seven months old by the time I think the weather will be warm enough for him to go boating. So I have no experience with PDF for such young children. What do all of you use Pros and Cons to what is on the market.

regardless of your final choice float the little guy in the pond w the pfd prior to relying on it in the boat.

if you are not comfortable with a quiet float near the dock you sure are not going to like it's performance when it's really needed.

Check out Salus marine.  My youngest used this as well as 4 nieces and nephews.  Works great and flips them onto their backs.  Not big and bulky so it keeps them cooler than others IMO.
