Surf gate water spilling over the top?

Hey crew,

Could anyone please give me some direction to setting up my 2013 20 mxz for surfing on the left (natural) side? (Goofy side seems to be much better) It's my first boat so new to it all..

The problem seems to be water coming over the top of the active surf gate and splashing the surf wave face on the opposite side... is there too much weight in the back? I wouldn't have thought the stock ballast would be too much weight? if I remove some ballast the wave lacks height and power ,

I only have stock ballast, both rear and centre are full (100%) with power wedge fully down, driving at about 15-16 kph 

Will try to get some better photos this weekend.

No bow tank, usually just a few ppl up there
