ajgear, any idea what the gel lines are going to look like on the 2018 VTX? Any changes?

@AussieSkier, the dealer said didn't expect any significant changes in the gel schemes.  There were a couple of minor things they expected to see, but nothing affecting appearance.  I would have gotten a '17 if I'd found one in the area that struck my fancy, but it's slim pickings for '17s around here, and the bump to the '18 was small enough that it was well worth picking exactly the options/colors we wanted.

I can set you up on my buddy's 2011 VTX.  His lift cable snapped, and since my boat got "pre-traded", I told him he could throw it on my lift.  I'm sure he wouldn't mind.  That lift rent is EXPENSIVE!    Too bad on the delay.  I'm hoping to get down for the tour when mine is on the line the last week of August.  I'm told it's well worth the time, especially if you get to see your new baby coming to life.

I've heard the 2018 21VLX will be the same price as last year, but minus a few options. Plus, it gets the 410 raptor!

Pretty sure the 21vlx had the Raptor 410 for 2017 and 1.72 trans.
