Ballast pump whisteling

When I fill up my rear ballasts and hit stop something whistles for about 15 seconds and then stops. Any idea if something is leaking?

It doesnt do it on my front ones.  I suppose i could try one side or other and try and pinpoint exact location.  Also is there any tips on winterizing the ballasts?

I would guess that is the anti siphon duckbill squeaking. On the top of the anti siphon loop there is a plastic fitting with a cap and under the cap is something called the duck bill. It is normal to have it squeak. Mine does it on the center tank. That anti siphon is located under the drivers kick panel.

I had this whistling issue when I was going underway over 3500 RPMS... which was coming from the the Anti siphon mentioned by teamerickson. So the Anti siphon is located at behind the kick panel of the driver seat, you actually should be able to reach it without removing the kick panel. At the top of the anti siphon there is a little screw cap.. double check and make sure the cap is very tight. Mine was a little loose and causing all kinds of weird noises when I was under high RPMS. Once i screwed the cap a bit tighter it helped eliminate a lot of weird noises. It didn't fix it 100% but definitely made a difference.
