I'd continue with the black as the fill color and chrome outline.  Match it up to the wakesetter/malibu logo.

That's exactly what I did and it looks great!

I wanted them to seem factory and blend in, here is mine.

Fill Color : Malib Machine Silver
Outline Color : Malib Met Black

I've been thinking about putting the newer wakesetter font on my hull @Sixer.  How much did that run you?

I think total was under $75 with tax.  http://shop.domednumbers.com/product/14wakefactorymatch

I think this would be almost illegal in MN........we have a law that states you have to have contrasting colors for your registration numbers so they can be seen from a distance and not blending in with the boat.  Otherwise I do like that look as well.

Yeah, I like that look when it matches the "Wakesetter".  I got mine in the 2013 OEM matched Color and Font.

I have the matching numbers with the Wakesetter emblems. At first I thought that I might order some more with something more matching the top deck color. After I saw some that were different from the Wakesetter emblems and matching a color at the opposite end of the color spectrum, I'm glad I got the matching ones. The other color just didn't look right.

I actually prefer the malibu font over the wakesetter.

That's what I did!  At first I was thinking Waksetter font, but then I decided to go with the Malibu font.  My thinking was the Wakesetter font would be flanked by the Malibu font front and back to make it look even. It came out great!  I love how easy they are to put on!!
