on the 2011's it's under the helm in a blue box. The slot is covered by a black piece of plastic.

Hope this helps.

OK, looked under the console and no "slot" for the SD card. Also I can not find an antenna - is it internal? Next mission is to take out the carpeted storage compartment and see if it is behind there. thanks

1- lay on your back under dash head close to sub

2- look up locate blue viper module box depending on boat should have 3 set if cables coming out of it

3- you will see either a black plug like mine a black plug hanging or the plug will cover the exposed slot. the slot will is in the side closest the steering wheel in the side of the box 2-3" up you will have to feel for it.

4- slide sd card into slot till it clicks just like a digital camera

the antennas are supposed to be under the dash, if you open navigation and it does not populate your location most likely there is no antenna present and you will have to add it. my bu' did not come with the antenna but i am going to be adding that as my navigation is already unlocked. i have a navionics chip installed just waiting on the under dash antenna aswell as the intermediate harness for my mdg module.

if you cant figure it out pm me and i can walk you thru finding it.

Well on the new 24 the viper box is behind the dash and accessible by removing the carpeted storage compartment beneath the seat back. It was very easy to find once the 4 screws are removed and the box comes out. There is no external attenna.

thanks for all the help.

Hi All

I have a 2017 21 VLX, and was looking for the SD slot for the Navionics SD card, and I couldn't find it.

Does anyone know where it is specifically on the 21 VLX?

Thanks

Rich

It's on the back of the 7" display. be careful not to drop it behind the footrest... There are two slots on the back of the 7" computer, under a rubber plug, make sure you put the card in the correct slot.

Yes, you will need a gps antenna for the nav-chartplotter.  It plugs into the back of the 7 inch viper 2 screen, there is a small whip antenna right next to the plug.  The antenna is normally installed on the dash between the windshield and the 12 inch screen.  If you look under the dash, there is a round hole in the fiberglass under the plastic dash.  You can drill the hole there for the antenna mount.  The antenna is available from your dealer.  It should be around $100 or less.
