Router Circle Guide?

What does everyone use to make a hole in the speaker box for the sub? I assume the cleanest is a router with a circle guide or is there a better way? Circle guides can get up there in price ($50) ..not sure I can justify it. is there a beter option or do you make your own? http://www.diynetwork.com/how-to/how-to-cut-circles-and-curves-with-a-router/index.html

For a single cut I wouldn't buy one. The Jaspers are terrible IMO anyways as the right size is never available and I ONLY believe in flush mounting. Hell if you aren't flush mounting a jig saw is more than fine to cut the circle.

They are making it pretty hard with their jig. For a one time use, some 1/4" fiber board screwed to your router with a single pivot hole at the radius of the sub cutout you need is fine (remember to account for the full router blade -- exactly why I like 1/2" upspiral versus 3/8").
