Bakes Bimini vs. TowerBimini for Illusion X Tower

I just recently joined the Malibu family with a new to me 2004 VLX w/ Illusion tower. Unfortunately it did not come with a bimini top and see that it is available from Bake's. I've searched the forum and have come across some posts recommending towerbiminis, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with Bake's biminis? I'm considering pulling the trigger on one since it's currently on sale.

Not familiar with the brand Tower Bimini's, But this I know for sure, Bakes Carry's quality Products and they know what they are talking about when it comes to Malibu's It's not just an online store, Paul & Andrew have a passion for Boats and there business, Great customer service, I'm sure many will chime in and say the same!! The Bakes bimini is superior in quality to others I've seen but I have not seen the towerbiminis product. Bakes uses all stainless materials and sunbrella, the only two materials you want on your tower. There are pieces that are welded, that is done domestically right up the road from Bakes. The bead is perfect on the welds I have seen on them. What I'm trying to say is that the quality and attention to detail is there with the Bakes bimini. They are malibu specialists at Bakes and know the boats as good as anyone. I don't know if that is the case or not with the TB product, compare the materials I've described and see if its similar to the TB product or not.

I have a Bake's Bimini on my G3 and it ROCKS  . Actually it was a bit too tight when I first got it and they took it and moved a few stitches about 1/4 of an inch and now it is BUTTA! :yahoo:

Super awesome product from some pretty damn cool guys. And a canvas person that is head and shoulders above the rest.

Tower Bimini has some of the best Biminis and customer service around and you can find them on line at many sites. Tower Bimini also uses Sunbrella fabric, the best stuff around and will last for yrs with out fading.

Bakes Marine is a loyal member on this site and sure they will chime in as many of their customers have.

Paul who makes your Bimini's?

They make them in house. I mean literally in their store.
