 With the G3 shelves aren’t you supposed to be able to mount a speaker on top and bottom for a total of four speakers?

I believe that’s true. 

 How much do you want for the g3 shelves?

Not interested in anything else?  Maybe a great pair of Rev8s and a sweet amp?

No I already have 4 tower speakers just don’t like how they are mounted.   Do you happen to know who makes the shelves are there produced by wet sounds? 

How about I sell you the shelves for $1000 and throw in the Rev8s and amp for free?

Sorry - running off my phone.  Didn't see your earlier post.  I believe the shelves are original Malibu equipment from a G3.  I had an Illusion X, so I never mounted them.  They just came with the speakers/amp.

I'd do $100 plus shipping if you're interested.  I don't know how much shipping would be because they are heavy - pretty much solid aluminum (from the looks and heft) that has been machined/milled for cable routing.  I don't have the hardware to mount to a tower, though.

The shelves are made by PTM. And yes, 4 speakers can be mounted on them, they are factory equipment.

I have 2 rev8s and 2 icon 8s  will both types work on those shelf’s?

I believe so. You may want to look at using both Revs and Icons at the same time, though. I had a thread last summer about the same thing. The power requirements are different enough that you might need two separate amps, one for Revs, one for Icons. Happy to sell the shelf, but make sure you know what you’re getting into. I originally thought I’d swap out one pair of the Revs for  pai of Icons in my boat. Turns out that’s not as easy or workable as i thought. 

 That is currently the up I have, a two channel 500 W Rockford amp for one set of speakers and a 600 amp 2 channel Rockford Fosgate amp for the second set of tower speakers I just don’t like how the second set of speakers is mounted with the clamp type mount

Then you should be good....  let me know if you’re interested in the shelves. They’re probably way underpriced for PTM shelves. Look to be higher quality than the regular Malibu shelves. 

Are you willing to sell just the pair of rev's?  one of my rev 8 cans took a s*** last season and I need to replace it.
