OK here it is! http://www.themalibucrew.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/Yahoo.gif Now for the Details: Available UNFINISHED ONLY, with or without a switch hole. You can put the finish on yourself, have it polished, whatever. I am handling the Paypal orders for LilJohn and he is going to ship them out. We need about 5 days lead time once the order is submitted. Want one? PM me for special BU Crew Pricing (our cost) with your prefrence switch or no switch and for Paypal instructions. This pricing is BUCREW only so keep it to yourself. John is going to market these elsewhere for higher $. When I receive your funds the units will be processed and shipped out!

That looks awesome!! PM'ed for inquary.

Just a question tho, why no finish? The first thing I'd do with mine is take it down to our shop and polish it up and put a lacker to seal it. I understand that it is labor intensive for you to polish them up, but I am afraid that most people will not have the ability to finish them, and will not want the "unfinished look". You might want to offer two options and charge a price accordingly. Maybe I am wrong?

different options, some will want polished, some maybe powder coat etc... the finish will also add to the cost and we wanted to keep it as low as possible this time around.

Looks great! http://www.themalibucrew.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/Clap.gif

I still need to measure my other brand EQ to see if it will fit in the opening. I would love to see a pic of the actual piece in the boat to determine clearances around things like the steering wheel, my legs etc. Also, I know my floater on my key ring hangs in the way of the remote, does anyone have any great ideas for this as I assume the key ring will hang right in front of the WS420 (other than not using a floater)?

http://www.themalibucrew.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/Plus1.gif Plus you have to remember this is the first run and you want to make the buy very easy on Liljohn and the vendor. After some time of working some little things out I'm sure they will come up with even more options and for most of us, we like to save a few $$$ http://www.themalibucrew.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/Thumbup.gif

Good work Liljohn

So not sure if anyone asked this before, but why only for Sony remote users ;)

I have a Kenwood remote and feel left out....haha

My 420 is mounted on the left hand side under the dash and works well but is some what hard to see so moving it to a more visiable place would be nice if there was an option.

Just throwing that out there

Maybe 2in by 3in, it is oval (Here is a picture) and only needs 3 small holes in the back to mount. 2 for the blots and one for the wire. I could drill those.

That looks like a flush mount remote, if that is the case then I am sure they could just leave out the 3" sony hole and you could drill holes and wala! You have it.

It is a flush mount however my concern is the difference in size. I would not need that much area to mount so my peice could be smaller and it would not hang down as much. Right now it's like fitting a square peg in a round hole. It's really not that big of a deal where I have it now works, but if more people were interested with Kenwoods then maybe a slight re-design might be in order. But right now maybe that is asking a bit much

Hey ken, joe is right i could leave out the sony hole and there would be enough room for it. if you wait a few weeks ill have a mount just for the eq but it wont be crew price.
