Hi, I got a 2004 malibu response lxi and I think the guages are fried because I tested the end of the harness with the dash lights and key on and I'm getting 12 volts on some of the wires. Is this a good way to test it? And if they are bad are stock oem guages the only way to go or is there somewhere that got basically the same thing? Thanks.

My 2002 had the AC Delco 7SI alternator...I'm fairly certain this is the direct replacement, but do your own research:

@Nordo06 - piston should be up at the top of the stroke commonly referred as ‘top dead center’. Best practice, engine should be warm.

Hello friends .
A year later, I know. But I don't have time for my boat, this last moment. compressions being OK I buy a valve leak tester.
I'm afraid for the results.
Question : for a good leak test, the piston must be in the Low position? thank you, and good luck to all
Thank's all friends

You can take the dealer out of Skier’s Pier…
But you can’t take the Skier’s Pier out of the dealer…
