Makes me curious, are the XXX boxes built any bit decent or to spec in the M boats?

My 2020 23 MXZ box was just as bad as the M220 I have. And I paid for the upgraded audio package. Thats why I am having you make all my plugs and doing my own thing..lol.

    • Thank you for the suggestion! The sensor is mounted to the ladder with 2 screws and appears the connector to the sensor is not detachable. The cable leaving the sensor is secured to the support arm of the swim step and enters the boat at what I would think would be close to the waterline and runs to the dash. My druthers would be to splice a quick disconnect (similar to the 2 prong in your link) and call it a day. Concern is under load (surfing) if the connection would hold up to the resistance of the water....

    • The Tommy's story does sound like what my dealer was telling me when I bought my last Malibu. I don't understand why they would force dealers to take stupid 26 foot wake busses when there is plenty of demand for the boats people actually want. I know my dealer had a hell of a time selling those big boats that they were forced to take.

Yeah...  The guys at the factory were having some fun with a hull back in the day.  I think John had that one built.

I can confirm that John (aka Walkabout) Sisson had this custom made. I am still good friends with his son. This idea was before MC launched the CXT. I worked at a dealership during a summer and we actually had this on the lot for a while.

    • Sorry that 06 boat has been replaced 3 times since these posts. But if you do the chain definitely make it long enough you can set the cap up on top of the gunnel or sun pad so it isn't hanging.
