I don’t think that is unique to the boating industry. Same applies when ordering a car.

I had this same code, and a tune up fixed my issue. However, when researching this issue, @oldjeep is correct in that Indmar has a "performance update" that the dealer can re-flash on the ECM. Every thread I read on this issue where a tune up did not solve the issue, the reflash fixed it.
